Survey Content

This survey collects data on a range of topics focusing on adult engagement in the arts and cultural sectors, major events, sport, and the digital sectors.

You will be asked questions about:

• Your demographic information
• Arts participation
• Libraries & archives use
• Heritage engagement
• Your local area
• Museums, galleries & cultural property engagement
• Live sporting attendance
• Gambling (e.g. bets on horse racing and other sporting events)
• Domestic tourism
• Major events (sporting and cultural)
• Digital skills, broadband & internet use
• Use of collected data

Questions on these topics will gather information on frequency of participation, reasons for participating, barriers to participation and your attitudes towards the DCMS and Digital sectors.

The demographics section will cover questions about you, such as your age, ethnicity, education, and employment history, as well as other related topics such as wellbeing and loneliness. These questions aim to ensure that everyone's views are captured.

Taking part is voluntary. You are not required to answer any questions you do not want to answer.
